It’s a good question, but the question within the question—“why mostly in awful or negative contexts”—is part of the answer, so I will tackle both of the questions together.

Upon commencing The Politico-Sigefrithian, I immediately realized that I could never neatly summarize the historical context of early 1067 in the little space available to me at the top of the page.
Verily, I thought, Pre-Lotherian History should be an article in its own right… so I wrote one. Never dreaming how many hours it would take. *sigh*

Putting this together made me realize how much her life is already intertwined with the elves’ story—especially Vash’s. Oooh boy. I guess I should do the Vashlaina storyline after all, so I can point people to that if they want background about why Vash is so angstry. But that will surely be a monumental undertaking…
(It’s also interesting how doing one storyline tends to lead to another…)
