I am getting ready to put the new site live hopefully over Christmas, so I will be home to fix it when it explodes, but first I need to think of some shortcuts to use for the new batch of muppet-based smilies I plan to add. For the most part I want them to not clash with the existing smiley set (it's the same boring yellow set as is already on the site and on the forum) and I know some of you are much better with crazy smilies than I. Horizontal smilies and so forth. 0_o

So here's what I got... I'm putting down the name of the smiley image file, which I think is supposed to be the shortcut -- à la :randomsmileyname: -- but some of them clash with the existing ones (like :wink:), and some of them are just seriously WTF. And I'll put down the codes I thought up for some of them. As you can see I'm mostly continuing the 8 = googly eyes theme, but I'll go with whatever is easy to remember.

So if you have any ideas, just comment below. Obviously it's possible for one smiley to have more than one code, but I'll be happy if every smiley has at least one that makes sense.

You may also propose other smilies that are of great emotion-expressing utility in the chat or elsewhere, but I am going to try to keep the number somewhat limited on the story side of things. I don't want it to be a smiley free-for-all over there like in the chat. No :bush: or :binladen: in other words. ;-)
