I'm hoping to get into the University of British Columbia, but they don't do early acceptance, so I have to wait until April. I applied at the University of Victoria as a backup. I'm a little sick of Alberta

EDIT: Oh, Taryn, I forgot to mention how cute your puppy is (even though everyone else has said that too). Animals are the sweetest things--love how they can say just the right thing without saying anything, if that doesn't sound too cliche. And your sunglasses are awesome.

Uh... yes and no. I get good marks on tests, but I don't focus well, barely study, and miss a lot of homework assignments. I'll probably end up being one of those people who does well in high school, but fails in university because they don't have the work habits. I'm hoping for the best, though.

Ok, I'm feeling a little bad actually, you see that photo was taken quiet some time ago. The only reason I used it was coz I haven't actually changed that much from when it was taken......my puppy however has.

Oh, and it was the first photo I came across, so I thought 'what the heck, why not'. Heres a more up to date photo, currently my facebook pic aswell.

Lol, excuse all the booze, this was taken as the last deck party. We have a bar on the beach front and every sunday they hold a deck party. Sadly the centre is being converted to a converance centre and this place and all the others are being closed down. So this was the last deck party......*sniff* brings back such memories of my college days. I also used to work here, so I was really sad to see the place close down

As for the puppy, well she's.......big now. Heres what she looks like now.

I do however want to get another puppy for the inside, a little lap dog. But we currently have a little rat as well, and she doesn't like dogs, lol.

Yay Cassie got it! That last pic is when I went to go visit Jenny in Victoria. She's being very Jenny like and I'm WTFing at something...I don't remember what. Peru was very nice, an amazing experience. Although I'll probably have skin cancer now because of the trip! Stupid pasty scottishness....

Jenny is awesome as you all know. In person she is a little quieter then on here but once you start discussing the story that goes away quick. She's really smart of course and very tranquil. Her house looks like a space ship, its pretty badass.

What a beautiful wedding it looks so intimate. How long were you two standing outside in the last pic?

There were about seventy people. Practically close relatives and some friends. It was probably one of the best days of my life.

My sister took some pictures on the ice after the ceremony. And it was FREEZING. Not more than 15 minutes I think, but after that we got dressed really quickly.

Uh, was also my reaction to the language of that sign. Too much American movies, I suppose. But it was not made by me, so I couldn't really complain. And it is a nice sign after all.

We danced our wedding valse (and many other afterwards) in an old cottage. My father had warmed it up since two weeks before the wedding. Yes, it's a spinning wheel. And I'm behind all those hands.

EDIT: And I don't know how Finnish it is. Usually Finns have their wedding at summer... unless they are pregnant.

Thanks for the details about sleigh rides! Wow... I feel like I must have taken one or two in my childhood in Ohio, but I must not have paid much attention to the details. I was actually thinking about this quite recently when I was calculating how long it would take Paul & Co. to get from home to Nothelm Keep and back again, and I thought surely they must have a sleigh since it was snowy and Cat was too pregnant to ride... Now I just wish I had CC of appropriate nature and quality to do sleighs. Doing Sigefrith on the back of a horse for the recent Prologue chapter was nightmarish, with lots of poseboxes and followed up with lots of photoshop.

It was! I hit up five countries within like 25 days. It was exhausting but well worth getting sick (which I still am despite being back for like two weeks ugh). And I wasn't in a plane when I took that, lols. That was me being bored om my train from Florence to Rome.

For some reason, I pictured Devin and Tiana exactly as they are and Lothere approximately as she is but everyone else was just a giant question mark. I remember distinctly thinking that Cassie was blonde for some reason. Oh the mirth.

Yup, my name is really Lydia. What does a Lydia look like? I don't know very many, I meet about one a year.

I wasn't playing a sport exactly - I do CrossFit, which kicks my butt every day. I think that day was something ridiculous like pullups, then run 800 meters, then pushups, then run 400 meters, then burpees, then run 200 meters, then collapse and have my picture taken. I'm about 5'7", so a little taller than average.

Dead Prom Queen was fun and I got to cut up my friend's bridesmaid dress that she hated. And yes, the BLOOD was a key component of the costume!

I don't remember what I thought everyone else looked like, but we really are a nice looking group!

Ha, not even close to the craziest! It was a big party and people get creative. A couple I know went as before and after Britney Spears - the wife was young Britney from the Baby One More Time video, and her husband was post-craziness Britney with a bald head and smeared makeup.

CrossFit is a great workout and I recommend it if anyone is looking for something new to try. I'm getting strong!

Burpees are a terrible exercise where you do a push-up, then hop up to standing, jump and clap over your head. That's one. Strenuous gardening would be an interesting addition to the workout, though!

Around here we call that ALABASTER SKIN. And hair that is black like a beetle.

Though we can't compare noses from the front, you do look a lot like Margaret! You even have a Margaretish look on your face. Just imagine Gwynn slightly out range of the camera, doing something slightly ridiculous, and that's Margaret's face right there. "I just can't take her anywhere, can I?"
