Great Lothere Convent ... on the chat

I have an idea ! With that being said, let me explain why I spamming the forum. Since we all live all over the world, it would be great if we could spend some time (like and hour) having tea behind our screens, talking about Lothere. It's August, and a lot of people don't work (at least, I presume), so if anyone wanted to propose an hour (Paris or New York time) and a day, it would be cool to chat about the story, the characters, and so on.

I would be glad to invite everybody in Paris or to be able to go to the States but I think it'll be impossible for now, so what about the chat idea ? If anyone is interested...

Excuse me, François, while I laugh at loud at the idea of a Great Lothere Convent. We shall all be nuns!

If it's a Convention you're after... well Monday through Friday I used to faithfully sit in the chat from about 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, New York time (i.e. my lunch time on the West Coast) but lately I've been unfaithful due to the disappearance of Tiffany and Cassie from the usual roster of attendees. And last week ermine showed up one time while I had my chat window hidden behind another window. *sigh*

But if somebody would come I could be there at those times.

Okay, that falls at about 12:30-2 pm my time. I'm usually awake, but yesterday, I slept in until nearly 3, so we shall see whether or not I make it.

But yeah, if there's going to be a convention at a set time, it's going to be difficult to find a time that works for everyone just because of the timezones. Personally, I don't usually go to bed before 3 am, so I'm fine with being up in the dead of the night, but that's probably not the case with those of you who actually have common sense.

But yeah... this weekend would actually work for me because I have the house to myself. Heheheh... and they're worried I'll throw some crazy party...

Yeah- What if we made it the weekend? 2:30 in the middle of the work day is a little odd for those of us who actually live on the East Coast of the United States. :p

Pen, you might have noticed that I didn't correct François and tell him the proper term is "Great Lothere Con"... for then the linguistic pain would be my own. Le temps ne fait rien à l'affaire...

(For that matter, François did regale me with a Middle French poem involving the word dunt and also a word that rhymes with it, which you can guess, so I had my own moment of linguistic pain today.)

(Poor François is turning as red as his tie.)

Nimue, I believe I have reset your password in the chat to whatever your password is on the forum... and this without even knowing what that is, thanks to the magic of encryption. Let me know if it doesn't work.

I'm usually around on the weekends, but I don't have much of a schedule. If you guys can settle on a weekend time I can probably be there, provided it's not in the 6PM-8:30PM Pacific range, since dinner time is sacred at my house.

On a somewhat related note, would it be helpful if I made a little "Who's in the chat" widget on the main site? If you were lazily reading along and saw someone online, would you go? I've put that off for a while, but the thing with chats is that people won't go there unless there are already people there... so maybe the time has come.

Oooh, I want to chat :O Everytime I look in there it is empty (but then I've only looked like 3 times.. *cough*)

I can go on weekends, or very late on Friday nights, Pacific time. I'm up at some weird times because boyfriend is in Korea and I try to make some time to talk to him... I like Saturday. Saturday night is best for me but I will go with whatever everyone else decides, since I know we have such a range of timezones here

Nimue, I changed the user name of the chat user to Nimue2, so maybe you can make a new account?? It seems like the easiest thing. I don't understand why it isn't working.
