I just updated the site with some new features.

Now, if you have JavaScript enabled, the “Preview Comment” button will load the preview below the comment form, rather than taking you to a new page. This is not only quicker to load, it also allows you to easily refer to the chapter and other comments above while you’re hacking away on your new comment.

If you have JavaScript disabled it will take you to the separate comment preview/edit page like before. (If any of you have noticed this feature yet… I only added the Preview Comment button a few weeks ago.)

I haven’t added a “Preview Comment” button to the “Edit Comment” page yet, but hopefully with the Preview feature you won’t need to go back and edit comments so much anyway.

The second important feature is the ability to bookmark chapters that Pen was asking about the other day. You must be logged in to save/view your bookmarks.

I have added a somewhat subtle “Bookmark” button to the gold bar above the chapter navigation, like so:

If the button is brownish, it means you haven’t bookmarked it. If it’s blue, you have. Just click the button to toggle your bookmark. (You need JavaScript enabled for this to work.)

To see your bookmarks, click on the “My Bookmarks” link in the right sidebar, just above the calendar. That page is quite spartan at the moment, but I just wanted to get it working for now. Soon you’ll be able to bookmark characters’ bio pages, too.

I’ve tested in IE 7 and Firefox 3, so if something is broken for you, it would help if you let me know what browser and operating system you have.
