Putting this together made me realize how much her life is already intertwined with the elves’ story – especially Vash’s. Oooh boy. I guess I should do the Vashlaina storyline after all, so I can point people to that if they want background about why Vash is so angstry. But that will surely be a monumental undertaking…
(It’s also interesting how doing one storyline tends to lead to another…)

...And so Lothere stepped onto the scene with her thumbs hooked into the tool belt at her waist, ready to take on anything.
...and stared into the heart of the vortex that had opened in Tiffany's browser seconds after her last words were recorded, sucking her into another dimension from which even blog comments cannot escape.
Wow I was reading Lena's storyline and its sadder reading it in storyline mode.
I think I fixed it. There is this thing that says "Restore Previous Session" everytime you reload Firefox. It returns to the sites that I was on when I shut down. Which normally isn't that bad, but when it slows down the computer and other people would like to use it without having to see virtually all the sites you visited, it can get annoying. But, I fixed it. Google does wonders.

They do when the rush of ethereal wind blows the hem of your skirt up around your shoulders, à la Marilyn Monroe.

Heh, and here I thought those tools were for combating the vortex!
But when I think about it, if I were going to combat a vortex, I'd probably just use a roll of duct tape.

If I had to combat a vortex...I'd surrender to its demands and run away.
GEH Kraaia. I think I am the only one who doesn't like her, although I am anxious to see what big part she will play. When you first created Kraaia, did you know which direction she would take? (like her involvement with Vash).
Vash/Iylaine storyline would nice... but where would it end? In some ways I would say it hasn't yet ended 
It hasn't ended. And don't feel alone about the Kraaia thing. I'm with ya.
OK I think I'm going to take this on. A Vashlaina storyline can't help but be a Vashmalaina storyline however. Iylaine's whole life since the day she met Vash has been spent pinging and ponging between the two. (Remember it was Malcolm's mockery of her that sent her fleeing to the wilderness in the first place. Verily, it is his own fault...)
It will surely be the longest storyline I've done yet, and as you said, it's still ongoing. Perhaps it always will be unless one or more of them dies.
Stacy, I had no idea that Kraaia would become what she has. She has really blossomed for me lately. I had planned on her story being only a subtext to Cedric's, but she's becoming quite the character on her own (even if you don't like her much).
The Kraash idea came from Cassie, but they do seem sorta perfect for each other, once they have BOTH grown up a bit. I am unsure about how I am going to wrangle those two together, though. 1086 may prove to be the year that resolves the Vashmalaina triangle once and for all, but it's going to be tough to write.

*sniffle* As long as everyone involved is happy Well, okay, really I don't want to see Iylaine any more sad than she already is... Although she is kind of bratty sometimes it seems like her life was so full of sadness/disappointment. I think she could be really happy with Malcolm though, if she let herself. And then Malcolm would be happy too.
Anyway, even though I don't like Kraaia, maybe she will grow up and mature 
Even now she seems a lot better than when she first appeared in the story (to me anyway)
And here I am rambling away!!!!
I've given up on Iylaine. At this point, it seems she'll never be happy, whether she's with Vash or Malcolm or Egelric, Bertie, William-the-frickin-conqueror, whoever. Therefore, I'm just hoping that the boys can be as happy as possible despite Iylaine's misery. Kind of a bleak view, I know, but that's just me.
Well, Iylaine's problem is that she is at the center of the love triangle. Either of the guys could (they imagine) be made happy by just getting her, but Iylaine can only be happy if she lets someone go. And frankly her only chance to be happy by now is if she lets Vash go, because otherwise what about the kids? Unless Malcolm conveniently dies.
But then again we'll have to see how next year plays out--my characters surprise me sometimes.
